Our plans are to run all of these races during the normal Saturday time frame. In addition we will run the Daytona 24 hours which I anticipate will be run on Jan 22 and 23rd. This will conflict with the Sebring race in the schedule above. I'm sure we can figure a way to run both races with some help from our friends. Our experience at this race will help us to decide on which other 6, 12, or 24 hour races we enter.
Another VRS Endurance Race for the iRacing GT3 cars is in the books. This the last race of the season had some excellent driving from the 4 Stooges Race Team. Team Black (Wally and JC) finished 16th. Team Depends (Karl and Jerry) finished 27th after Jerry wrecking in the last chicane and taking over 12 minutes in the pits for repairs. For Team Black, Wally completed 21 laps with 4 incidents; JC also completed 21 laps with 4 incidents. Team Depends had Karl completing 23 laps with zero incidents and Jerry completed 16 laps with 10 incidents.
When we look back at our first few endurance races and then our last two races we have as a team made major improvements in our finishes and consistency. We now look forward to next season in the these 3 hour endurance races as well as entering a few of the 24 hour and 12 hour races.
So for the 4 Stooges Race Team it is from that great philosopher Buzz Lightyear that I say "To infinity and beyond".
