GT Endurance VRS Series - Road America

The 4 Stooges Race Team brought 2 cars to the VRS GT3 Endurance race at Road America.  Team Depends with Frank Butler and Jerry Kerr and Team Black with Eugene Clark and Robert Love.  Both teams chose not to Qualify but to start from the back of the field of 55 teams in this 4th split.  Team Black had a great run and finished 11th while Team Depends had some issues late in the race and finished in 23rd.  They were DQ'd for to many incidents after running as high as 16th.  Our next race is at Australia's Winton Raceway.  Can't wait for this one!!!

GT Endurance VRS Series - Barber Motorsports Park - Full Course

On April 16, 2022 - the VRS Endurance race at Barber Motorsports Park began with the Four Stooges race team fielding one car.  Team Black this week had Wally, Karl, and Jerry as drivers.  Jerry started us off with about 40 minutes of decent laps until a flub in turn 2 started the incidents and long pit stop of 8 minutes for repairs.  Wally took over and completed his stint with zero incidents and handed the car over to Karl to take the team home to the finish.  An incident in the chicane with a very slow car set Karl on his way to a 5 incident stint.  This concentration on the incidents is intentional since a 12 incident race is actually one of our better team races - after all we did not have a drive through or get DQ'd.  A smooth race to our 22nd place finish in a field of 50 cars.

Next race will be at Road America.

VRS GT3 Endurance race at Nurburgring Combined - Gesamtstrecke 24h

Hey - guess what?  It's a night race at Nurburgring.

3 hours in the dark was no problem for the 4 Stooges Team Red of Karl and Doug.  With only 4 incidents they tamed the course and finished in 19th place.  Wally and new team member Eugene Clark brought Team Black in at 29th place.  Our other new member Frank Butler teamed with JC and Jerry over on Team Depends and they finished in 32nd.  Whether caused by someone else or self inflicted, there was lots of down time for repairs.  Thus limiting the number of laps completed and in Jerry and Frank's case no lap times recorded.  A tip of the 'ol hat to Karl for completing 13 laps with no incidents (that is until lap 14)  Way to go Paaaal!

Our next challenge is Barber Motorsports Park - Good Luck Stooges!!!!

VRS GT3 Endurance Race at Daytona Road Course

Saturday April 2, 2022 the Four Stooges Team Black competed in the VRS GT3 Endurance race at the Daytona Road Course.  An entry list of over 200 teams meant a 4 race split.  Team Black was placed in the 4th split with 55 entries.  Running a consistent race with only 16 incidents Team Black finished in 16th place.

On April 9th the team will race at Nurburgring combined - Gesamtstrecke 24h which will be huge challenge.
