VRS GT3 Endurance Race at Hockenheimring Baden

June 18, 2022 saw the 4 Stooges Team Depends at Hockenheimring Baden to do battle with 34 other teams in the second split.  Wendell drove the last 2 stints and had the fastest lap on the team at 1:39.238.  Over all it was a good consistent race with the team finishing in 20th position.  No major repairs even though Wendell and Doug each got hit in the rear fenders.  A good start to our new season of Endurance racing.

Radical SR10 Fun Series Number 1

 

David Sturzaker took home the trophy today at Road America.  He led the race except for the pit stop exchange and with a blistering pace from the very start.  Morgan and Ragnar completed the podium.  Long Beach is next for these quick little cars.

4 Stooges Week 13 GT3 Endurance Race - Road America

 

iRacing's Week 13 saw the return of the 60 plus Racing Adventures GT3 Endurance Race brought to you by the 4 Stooges Race Team.  Our second season race had an increased field headed by returning champion R&R Racing - Russ Addie and Randy Shewmake.   These two did it again this season with an impressive win over the new Hello Kitty team of David Sturzaker and Robert Love.  The final podium spot goes to R&D Motorsports - David Riley3 and Kenneth Dummer.

Early in the race these 3 teams strung together some amazing laps that kept them close at hand until the first round of pit stops.  That shook up the standings as R&R pulled out to a huge lead.  As the last round of pitstops took place the teams fell into their finishing order for the last 30 minutes of the race.

Back in the field, the Old Git Team of Roberto De Filippis and Ricardo Alitta gained a position on Team Depends - Jerry Kerr and Eugene Clark when Team Depends made their last pitstop.

Team Mohr/Butler - Gene Mohr and Frank Butler finished in 6th place followed by Team Orange - JC Hay and Jeff Zappa.
